The Pattern Equation:


Thought → Emotion → Reaction → Reinforcement


This is how unconscious life patterns form.

What you don’t heal, you repeat.

What you don’t observe, you act out.

What you don’t disrupt… becomes your identity.


From an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) lens, this is pattern anchoring—when emotional triggers fire behavior loops. With coaching, you learn to recognize, disrupt, and rewire these loops with tools like reframing, breathwork, and identity scripts



Ancient Wisdom Has Been Saying This All Along


In Indian psychology, these patterns are called samskaras—mental impressions from repeated emotional events.


The Bhagavad Gita calls this the cycle of vasanas (tendencies), which influence karma (action), and shape your reality.


Samskara → Vasana → Karma → Identity


Break the samskara… and you break the cycle.



Coaching Story: The Leadership Loop of a SaaS Team Lead


A delivery team lead at a growing SaaS firm came to me and said:


Every time a product launch approaches, I get anxious. I overwork. I micromanage. Eventually, my team disengages—and then I feel like I’m the only one who cares.

It wasn’t lack of leadership skill.

It was an unconscious pattern of control rooted in a belief:

"If I don’t overcompensate, things will collapse".


His nervous system associated control with safety. We worked together on:

  • Self-talk reframing

  • NLP-based anchoring for calm presence

  • Behavioral response mapping during stress cycles


Within 6 weeks, he reported fewer escalations, better team ownership, and—most importantly—a new inner script:

"I lead through clarity, not control".
